Hi, we're looking for an experienced Researcher/AP to work on a fast-turnaround half-hour doc for BBC TV.
The programme is a 30 minute factual doc telling the story of inventors and focussing on biotech pioneers past and present, based in the West of England. The programme will combine archive (film and stills) and contemporary stories, linked together by a presenter.
You will possess tenacity, dedication, attention to detail, and ability to win over the trust of contributors.
Your role will include sourcing original archive from a variety of sources, (private and publically held), and you will be determined in seeking out the best material, perhaps including archive not previously seen. You should possess great people skills, and enjoy working as part of a small production team.
Shortlisted candidates will be notified as soon as possible. Filming will commence in mid-April, for final delivery in early June. Thank you for your interest.
