Al Jazeera Media Network is looking for a Creative Promotions Producer to join its award winning Creative team based at its London Broadcast Centre.

Candidates must have be fluent in English and have a minimum of a BA Hons in a creative or broadcast production area or equivalent. The ideal candidate will have considerable experience producing promotions for an English language broadcaster.

Promotions producers are required to deliver creative solutions for programme, news and channel identity promotions, while maintaining editorial responsibility for their own output.

The delivery process will also require some database management in updating the status of promotions clip details as promotions are completed and made available for transmission.

The successful candidate will also work closely with the Marketing, Distribution and Web team to deliver a variety of content that continues to promote the channel off air. The role requires deadline orientated personnel, able to cope with the pressurised environment of a 24 hour news channel. They should also possess broad knowledge of world politics and current affairs.

Candidates must have experience in planning, producing and directing shoots, scriptwriting and producing storyboards. They should be proficient in using Adobe Creative Cloud specifically Premiere and After Effects, Final Cut Pro, Avid, etc.

Producers should have some operational experience or practical awareness of working within regulatory guidelines, particularly OFCOM.

The role may include travelling to other broadcast centres within the Al Jazeera Media Network and overseas locations as and when needed.
