We are currently recruiting a Programming Coordinator who has strong operational and scheduling system experience to work closely with the Senior Programming Manager to devise creative and competitive programming highlights and grids.In Europe, Middle East and Africa, Turner currently broadcasts 68 channels in 23 languages to 124 countries. It is headquartered in London and operates local offices across the region.The brand portfolio includes EMEA's number one international news brand CNN International as well as Turner's leading kids brands, Cartoon Network - home of global hit animation series such as The Amazing World of Gumball and Boomerang, featuring timeless classics such as Scooby-Doo, Tom & Jerry and Looney Tunes. Recently launched truTV is available free to air in the UK and is home to shows such as RuPaul's Drag Race and America's Got Talent.Other Responsibilities include: Work with programming manager to create competitive programming grids and highlights. Ensure monthly rating reports are thoroughly read and suggest programming changes if needed. Enter programming wizards into Vision (Scheduling System) and version once ingest is complete. Order dubbing and see through the process to tx. Keep inventory documents up to date. Assist with central team requests for tx and strategy info. Work closely with compliance and content ops using tx tracker grids to ensure new content make sit to air. Communicate effectively across presentation, playout, ad sales, creative, marketing & digital teams and identify any procedural issues. Hold team screening sessions. Attend all team meetings. Manage VOD/Airline year plans and picklists. Keep team documents up to date. Assist with ad hoc requests such as organizing screeners, compilations, put lists together and run reports from Vision and Xen (scheduling systems). Cover programming roles during annual leave or sickness. Have the ability to work under pressure to daily deadlines and within a fast paced environment. Have a sound knowledge of competitor channels and content. Other Skills and Experience. Essential Team player who is motivated, with a can-do attitude. Organised. Enjoys attention to detail and is thorough when completing tasks - even when under pressure. Solid communication skills. IT literate and quick to pick up new systems and processes. Experience using a scheduling systems.
