South West London based Iranian satellite TV channel is actively seeking experienced Farsi speaking Journalist/Presenters to work within our professional production team.

Previous journalism and reporting experience is essential as is writing, and presenting accurate and informative news reports ready for broadcast on our daily news programme.

Candidates should have experience of writing detailed news reports to extremely tight deadlines and be able to communicate clearly and professionally, whilst being able to engage with viewers in a live studio environment

Successful candidates must be able to read and write Farsi and English fluently, and have the Right to Work in the UK, and should be suitable for live on air presenting and available 5 days a week for our live news broadcasts.

Duties:
* Obtains assignments by conferring with news editors and other journalists with similar and related stories; analysing ways to research topics.

* Researches assignments by identifying and evaluating information sources; studying documents; visiting locations; setting-up and conducting interviews; verifying facts.

* Prepares reports by organising information; determining best way to present information; writing report following style, content, grammar, and legal guidelines; highlights interpretations.

* Develops information sources by establishing and maintaining contacts; developing personal networks; tracking breaking news; recommending new report ideas.

* Protects organisation's value by keeping information confidential.

* Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; reading professional publications; maintaining personal networks; participating in professional organisations.
