Production Runner

Overview:

VICE is the world's preeminent youth media company and content creation studio. VICE includes an international network of digital channels, a television and feature film production studio, a magazine, a record label, an in-house creative services agency, a book-publishing division and a new 24-hour TV channel, VICELAND, launched in in the UK and Ireland in September 2016.

The Role:
The Production Runner will provide a variety of support to the VICELAND Production team, in the office and on location.

Responsibilities:
• Supporting the production teams and talent, both in the office and on location.
• Undertaking general office duties including typing, transcribing rushes and interviews, taking messages, photocopying and filing.
• Processing and filing of contributor applications, production material and confidential information.
• Assisting the Production Managers and Co-ordinators with the creation of call sheets, sourcing and booking of travel and accommodation for shoots and all other shoot production requirements
• Liaising with the in-house equipment team and external rental companies.
• Attend location/studio shoots to provide production support, including driving production vehicles where required
• Liaise with Post Production department over return and ingest schedule of rushes cards and drives
The ideal candidate will have:
• Demonstrable experience as a TV Production Runner. Knowledge of VICE and VICELAND video content a plus.
• A full, clean driving licence and being a confident driver are essential for this role.
• Strong time management & organisational skills with experience of managing tight deadlines to priority.
• The ability to establish effective working relationships with a number of departments' staff and work collaboratively as part of a team.
• Filming skills a bonus but not essential.


Other:

• To undertake such other tasks including general administrative duties as may be required from time to time
• To be an ambassador for the business at all times.
