Production Manager

Milan, Italy

The Role
This key role within Scripps Mangia is responsible managing the production of all creative across the Italian brands as well being the operational liasion or 'go to' person for internal departments as well as out-of-house resources and facilities. These can be program post-production departments, promotion agencies, production houses, voiceover talent agencies, studios and various vendors. Reporting into the Head of On Air and working closely with him, ensuring that all creative demands are delivered on time and on budget.

Main Duties:
• Develop, implement and improve production processes
• Oversee and manage all Production operations
• Oversee, rethink and continuously refine the production process of creative materials on-air and off-air
• Production managing 360° campaigns, shoots for promos, adverts, continuity and fillers.
• Managing the production of all network short form content.
• Project managing channel refreshes and launches with external agencies and internal creatives.
• Responsible for budget and monthly network production schedule.
• Managing the workflow for both 3Zero2 and external resources (Creating Monthly Makelists)
• Overseeing the production of promotional material for Marketing, Ad Sales, Affiliate Sales, Digital and Corporate use.
• Sourcing and building a freelance Roster.
• Signing in and out the camera equipment and making sure that both in & out of house shoots are organized with all the requirements
• Keep track and reports of the use of both commercial and non commercial music

Person Specification:
• Extensive experience on a similar role (3-5 years)
• Experience in creating business plans for Creative Services areas
• Extensive experience of budget creation and management
• Proven track record of developing and managing workflows, production schedules, project and departmental budgets
• Excellent English skills. Able to work and communicate in a bilingual environment.
• Excellent communication skills
• Highly organized and motivated
• Team player
