Production Intern

Oxfordshire

Position: Trainee Cameraperson & Editor (Internship)

Duration: Permanent (3 Month Probationary period)

Location: Oxfordshire

Salary: £12,000

We are looking for a talented Trainee Cameraperson & Editor to join our young company, Akushi Media. We offer specialist services such as Aerial filming and Colour Grading, we are a fully operational 4K company with high spec edit machines using Adobe Suite CC. This is a fantastic opportunity for a graduate to put their knowledge in to practice and learn more on the way. Whilst a university degree is great, it is not entirely necessary as we are looking for passionate individuals with a strong show reel.

As an employee of Akushi, you will be required to work 37.5 hours a week and be flexible as we sometimes work late nights or weekends. As mentioned above, we offer a specialist service in aerial filming. It would be a bonus if you have had previous experience or an interest in flying drones, you could benefit from Akushi as will put you through a commercial drone training course with the Civil Aviation Authority.

What Skills/Qualifications are we looking for?
• Interest in Video Production, Television & Film
• Full UK Driving License
• Develop ideas from a given brief.
• Good organisation skills and can execute standard pre-production procedures (Shot List, Storyboarding, Call Sheets, Risk Assessments etc.)
• Strong camera operating skills and technical knowledge
• Can work to tight deadlines and interact with clients professionally
• Demonstrate a detailed knowledge of Adobe Premier
• Experience in using Adobe After Effects, Photoshop
• Good understanding of Lighting and how to use it in practice
