We make and share videos on YouTube, running a network of channels, managing the rights and audience growth from our catalogue of over 11,500 half hours of video content, and for over 25 international partners.

We manage 450 + global kids brands including audience favourites such as the Teletubbies, Caillou, Yo Gabba Gabba!, Inspector Gadget, Twirlywoos and In the Night Garden. Each month we deliver up to 750 million views across our video network.

Our digital production studio produces short-form videos for our family of channels, and we make original content for publishers and consumer products brands, supported by video marketing campaigns. WildBrain International is owned by DHX Media Ltd, a TSX-listed public company.

This role is based in Oakington, Cambridge


Responsibilities


Content Production
• Provide hands on support to producers during filming
• As and when required the production assistant may be included within videos. This may involve a level of acting, assisting in a voiceover or simply modelling with hands
• Keep abreast of activity on WildBrain and other top youtube channels
• Research new, popular, themed toys and games and share with team
• Provide creative ideas for new video episodes or craft ideas
• Assisting with pre production processes e.g. script writing/storyboarding etc
• Ensure footage and supportive files are packaged and saved onto hard drives/memory cards and safely delivered to the Wildbrain's office (via a member of production team) Content should be logged to a hard drive ID number so that the team can easily locate files


Studio Operations
• Responsible for the day-to-day management of the Studio
• Working with the production team to ensure timesheets are logged and managed effectively to ensure all production costs can be accurately measured
• Taking delivery of all post, logging and filing away as required
• Ensuring each studio space is adequately prepped with equipment, props, and materials ahead of each planned shoot
• Ensuring waste and recycling is effectively handled and removed.
• Managing stock and placing orders as needed e.g. batteries, light bulbs, tea, coffee bin bags etc.
• Responsible for overall appearance of the studio and ensuring it is a safe, and happy working environment


Talent Co-ordination:
• Liaising with the production team on upcoming project briefs to source and book talent for shoots
• Organising castings
• Managing the council applications for each shoot and tracking the process and approval of these
• Ensuring talent is appropriately briefed prior to arriving at the studio - providing scripts as and when needed, ensuring they come looking and feeling the part
• Hosting parents/chaperones and children that come to the Studio:
- Meet and greet
- Ensuring drinks are to hand and ordering lunch as and when required
• Managing talent time sheets
• Ensuring payments are made on time
• Maintain an up to date call sheet including but not limited to the following information:
- Name
- Date of Birth
- Contact details
- Availability
- Filming preferences etc.
