Production Assistant

The B1M are looking for a full-time Production Assistant, who will be responsible for assisting the company in all aspects of the production process. The ideal candidate must have a good understanding of video production, liaising with other companies and teams and have a good eye for detail and scheduling. They must also have a broad knowledge of social media platforms, especially understanding how different audiences engage with content across different platforms. An understanding or interest in the construction industry would be a distinct advantage for the right candidate. You will be working closely alongside our Managing Director, Fred Mills and Creative Director, Tom Payne. This is an exciting opportunity to become a key part of a growing business in a really interesting and underserved sector.
YouTube knowledge and previous experience working with online content would be a distinct advantage.
The role will be a full-time position with a 3 month probation period.
Key ResponsibilitiesAssisting the production team in producing content.
Planning content scheduling in conjunction with internal creative teams and client content & marketing teams.
Assisting shoots on location.
Liaising with key clients around shooting schedules, talent availability and access.
Ensuring all releases are secured on productions.
Assisting with research when necessary.
Ensuring kit and crew is booked for shoots.
Keeping track of expenses and invoices.
Producing reports for internal and external use when required.
Required Skills / ExperienceA minimum of 1 - 2 years' experience in production
Proven experience in a production environment
Excellent written and communication skills
Good working knowledge of Word and Excel
Ability to work effectively alone, managing multiple projects concurrently
Knowledge of cameras and/or editing would be an advantage (or a desire to learn)
