Production Assistant

An opportunity has arisen for an outstanding candidate to join our award winning team as a Production Assistant.
We Are: a creative studio who specialise in short form video, promos, motion graphic design and animation. We are broadcast professionals with years of experience creating content for major TV networks. We collaborate closely with our clients, offering a full creative service under one roof. We script, storyboard, film, edit, design and animate and we pride ourselves on recruiting only the best creative talent.
You Are: bursting with energy, enthusiasm and creative spirit. You are a team player who is eager to get stuck in and take on even the most mundane tasks. You will have a logical brain that can unpick problems with ease. Knowledge of camera equipment and editing software is an advantage. A relevant degree or equivalent production/running experience is desirable, but most of all you will have a passion for the industry.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:Production team support - writing call sheets, booking crew and cast if needed.
Post production bookings.
Acting as runner on shoots as and when applicable. This will include arriving early to help with loading kit into shoot vehicles and being able to stay later to help with kit returning to the office.
Working on the shared workflow management system and reconciling invoices and costs.
Help Creative Support with maintaining and storing the camera kit.
General Office Management - Answering phone, booking couriers, etc. Maintaining a tidy and well-stocked office, including: ordering stationery, groceries and office supplies.
Petty cash, shoot float and visa receipt reconciliation.
Uploading delivered and cleared work as directed to the TJ Vimeo site.
Sending an internal link every month of delivered work to the department.
Other duties to be agreed with line manager that support the delivery of projects.

Terms and Conditions:
Salary £16,500 per annum, offered initially as a 6 month contract, with potential to extend. The position is full time with occasional evenings and weekends. All offers of employment are subject to the receipt of satisfactory references. All candidates must be able to demonstrate eligibility to work in the UK.
