Barcroft Media are looking for a freelance Production Assistant to join our team on a contract basis, working in our New York office in Brooklyn, starting immediately.

You must be available to perform services for Barcroft Media in the USA and London.

You must have experience of working in a fast-paced environment, able to juggle multiple tasks, and must be highly organised, with excellent communication and attention to detail. We are looking for a team player and someone who is keen to get involved.

Responsibilities & Experience
(You must have the ability to act independently and exercise excellent judgment in performing the following services for Barcroft Media):
- Setting up shoots, including sourcing crew and camera kit, booking travel/accommodation.
- Creating call sheets and risk assessments, ensuring that all insurance documentation and permissions are taken care of prior to the shoot.
- Budget and cost management.
- Manage and update on-going production paperwork such as release forms, call sheets, shooting scripts, master content lists.
- Build and create database of freelance videographers, PD's and photographers, sourcing new talent to work with.
- General admin around video such as keeping asset lists, checklists, updating internal systems.
- Manage transcription process
- Language/translation coordination for international reversioning.
- Setting up new starters (coordinating contracts, computers, desks etc).
- Assisting in the research, development and implementation of organisational systems and procedures.
- Assisting with office and facility management whilst also supporting key personnel with day-to-day PA support.
- Must have experience working with programs such as Microsoft Excel/Word, and Google Docs, and Apple Macs.
