Posh Gecko is looking for a Production Assistant to join our expanding video production agency in Peterborough, Cambridgeshire.

The role will be extremely varied and exciting with no two days the same, if you're looking for an easy 9-5 desk job then this isn't for you!As a Production Assistant you will provide full support to the production team, from initial concept to final delivery of a project. During pre-production this could include casting, location scouting, booking equipment for shoots, preparing filming schedules and liaising with the client. Once the production is underway you will be expected to be a key part of the shoot and assist the production team where needed. This will involve making sure the shoot runs smoothly or even interviewing clients where required.

As a Production Assistant your time will be split between the studio and out with the production team on shoots - both nationally and occasionally internationally. It is vital that all applicants understand this is an essential part of the role and their time and commitment will be expected without question. The perfect candidate will be professional, highly organised and be comfortable working in a fast paced production environment. They will be able to communicate effectively with many different and varied clients in a professional manner, by telephone, email and in person. This position is ideal for graduates who have a passion for film who are looking for an entry level role within a highly creative industry.

Previous industry experience is not essential but will be looked upon favourably.The successful candidate will be asked to work on many different projects with the same level of enthusiasm and passion. This is a permanent position with a starting salary in the region of £15-18k per annum depending on the candidates experience. Further salary increases will be based on performance.

This position is not suitable for remote working and requires the candidate to work from our studio located in Peterborough, Cambridgeshire, England.
