We are currently seeking an EXPERIENCED PRODUCTION AND TECHNICAL MANAGER to join the core staff team of our busy touring theatre company.
Reporting to: Artistic Director and Executive Director

KEY AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY
We seek a highly organised and flexible individual with strong communication skills and ability to balance a wide range of responsibilities to lead on planning and high quality technical delivery of our productions projects and all other activities from our Nottingham base.

To lead on planning and high quality technical delivery of our productions, projects and all other activities from our Nottingham base and ensure smooth delivery of all aspects of production. To support acting companies, manage the provision, maintenance and usage of all technical equipment and vehicles and to ensure the safe, effective and efficient use of New Perspectives' technical facilities and resources. To act as nominated Health & Safety Officer and actively contribute to the delivery of New Perspectives artistic and business goals.

PERSONAL SPECIFICATION

ESSENTIAL SKILLS
• Experience of rural or small/mid-scale touring
• Full driving license
• An extensive knowledge and understanding of technical stage management and the production process
• Experience of running get-ins/fit-ups and get-outs
• Good understanding of audio visual set ups and operation
• A good knowledge of Health & Safety legislation and procedures and its implications in the theatre environment
• Clear and systematic, with a flexible attitude to work
• Positive and supportive attitude to finding solutions to problems effectively
• Experience of I.T. Systems including e-mail, Word and Excel and have good verbal and written skills
• Team player with a positive attitude and fresh ideas
• Able to work with minimum supervision
• Enthusiastic/energetic matching the ambition of the company
