Job Title: Production AdministratorContract: PermanentReports to: Senior Production Co-Ordinator Direct reports: N/ALocation: Ealing StudiosRacecourse Media Group (RMG) is a broadcast media company owned by 37 UK racecourses. It broadcasts live horseracing on multiple platforms in the UK and distributes racing content to a range of national and international partners to maximise the media rights value (both by revenue & reach) to shareholders. Racing UK broadcasts live coverage from a portfolio of 37 of the UK's top racecourses. The high definition channel includes the Derby, Royal Ascot, Cheltenham Festival and the Grand National amongst others in its big-race portfolio. The coverage includes 289 of the 315 principal races in the Jumps and Flat calendar.Overview of position An opportunity to work for the leading horse racing media rights organisation, supporting the production operations team in a variety of Racing UK administrative tasks at their broadcast facility in Ealing, West London. In this role you will oversee the smooth running of the production office administration / operation and assist with the co-ordination of facilities, services and staff. Key Responsibilities - First point of contact for any visitors to the studio- Management of telephone calls into the studio and re-directing as necessary- Office management (supplies, stationery, couriers, suppliers, day to day upkeep, etc)- Maintain look and feel of the studios by arranging improvements and general maintenance with our facilities providers- Assist with Health & Safety duties and reporting- Provide administration support to the operations team, inclusive of producing music returns, updates to broadcast schedules and staff rosters, annual leave and sickness records, etc- Assist in managing invoices and supplier / freelancer queries.- Oversee co-ordination of social events for the production team- Opportunity to gain some floor management / gallery assistance experience Required Skills/Experience - Degree-level qualification or similar - Excellent communication skills, both written & verbal- Good organisational and planning skills, with strong attention to detail and methodical approach to work.- Team Player - Initiative and problem solving ability. - Good time management - Ability to work in a dynamic and changing environment - An ability to learn and take on new roles in order to develop your skills. - Basic knowledge of studio facilities desirable - An interest/understanding of horse racing desirableEssential requirements/Qualifications - Experience of working in a similar administrative role or specific media training graduate- Proven track record of achievement - Strong IT skills, in particular Microsoft Office- Good level of numeracy and literacy- Flexibility with working hours when neededThis role profile is a guide to the work you will be initially required to undertake.
