Overall purpose of the job:
To be the main point of contact on individual projects, responsible for the scheduling, staffing, budgeting and delivery of work as well as building relationships between the company and the client.
To work as an integral member of the 59 Productions team, providing support in planning and executing projects as well as facilitating the winning of work in both existing and new markets.
Day to day responsibilities will include but not be limited to:
Negotiating client contracts (alongside 59's agent)
Working with the Creative Lead on projects to set deadlines and deliverables for the in house creative team and freelance project team
Working with the General Manager to contract freelance staff
Managing project scheduling, staffing, and production
Project budget creation and management
Reporting to the Directors and wider company team on the progress of projects
Providing regular updates to the client
Managing relationships with 59's freelance collaborators
Management of 3rd party rights for licensed and rights controlled material (music, film footage, stock imagery etc.)
Keeping abreast of PR requirements, i.e. photography / marketing materials / website - and working with 59's PR to help maintain and expand 59's press profile
Managing travel, accommodation and visas in collaboration with 59's Administrator
Managing logistics for projects in collaboration with 59's Technical and Production departments
Analysis of past, current and potential future projects to inform company-wide planning
Working as part of the producing department to allocate in house and freelance resources to projects
Working to identify funding opportunities
Responding to initial enquiries from potential clients
Coordinating responses to enquiries, initial budgets and leading tender applications
Presenting to potential clients
Identifying and approaching potential clients
Working with Directors to devise creative-led approaches
PERSON SPECIFICATION
Essential:
Significant experience in producing complex projects, working to the highest possible standards
Substantial knowledge of producing in different territories, with a portfolio that demonstrates a range of settings, scales and art forms
Experience in building and managing relationships with clients and collaborators
Experience in sales of projects, and negotiating with a range of clients
First-rate administration and organizational skills
Experience in budgeting and effective budget management
An interest in and willingness to travel globally
A willingness to work on weekends and evenings as required
An ability to multitask effectively and handle multiple workflows at any one time
An ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines
An ability and willingness to work as part of a team
