For many viewers Lorraine is the first appointment of the day. As a topical magazine show, Lorraine brings news, showbiz, the latest looks and delicious dishes that don't feel like a chore. We are currently looking for a creative producer who understands the Lorraine brand and what makes an ideal Lorraine story.

As our Producer, you will work in a day-team alongside a Researcher and Senior Producer. You'll output one programme per week comprising of news, topical discussions, celebrity guests, and a range of human interest and lifestyle stories and features.

You will be responsible for idea generation and identifying compelling stories and be experienced at chasing and securing guests, researching and writing accurate briefs, scripting and editing.

From time to time, the role will also require you to act-up as Senior Producer to support the team. Whilst acting-up, you will be responsible for live output from the gallery, compiling running orders and writing concise, creative scripts tailored to the needs of the programme and the presenter.

The successful applicant will have experience on a daily live show, have a strong journalistic ability, creative flair and be well organised. As Lorraine is a live daily show, you may be required to work long hours and some Bank Holidays.
