Following Sky's recent announcement of its Formula 1 coverage an opportunity has arisen within the Presentation Department to support the Sports area.

We are now looking for a Presentation Scheduler to join our busy, energetic, and creative presentation team, to produce daily transmission schedules for Sky Sports Channels as directed by the Senior Manager of Presentation.

In collaboration with the rest of the Presentation Department and by applying industry best practice this role will contribute to the transformation of Sky Entertainment into the industry's leading broadcast division.

The role requires creative and accurate scheduling of all broadcast Presentation events, timing of the schedule and downloading to Transmission and implementing requirements associated with the airtime optimisation system.
Eventually, you may be required to deputise for Senior Presentation Scheduler and will be required to work unsupervised and assist with the training, development and motivation of other Schedulers. Building up relationships with people from across the business will be important to this role.

Candidate Requirements:

You will be an experienced Presentation Scheduler or similar experience within Broadcast Operations, ready to take the next step in your career. You will show passion and enthusiasm for sports with a good all-round sports knowledge level and a good understanding of sports programming. You should possess appropriate leadership skills and should represent and embrace all of the Company values.
