DEPARTMENT DESCRIPTION
The Content Management department is responsible for supporting content delivery across all linear, non-linear and listings services.
The Presentation department is responsible for providing faultless, distinctive and imaginative daily transmission schedules for Channel 4, E4, More 4, Film 4 and 4seven. Working in conjunction with other departments, the team lead the following stages of the schedule's development:
• Going to press
• Creation of the graphics make-list and crafting the schedule prior to handover to meet all editorial and legal requirements.
• Handing the schedule over to the Duty Desk (in readiness for its final export to RedBee)
JOB PURPOSE
• To create an accurate presentation schedule and take the schedule to press
RESOURCES MANAGEMENT
• Reports to: Presentation Editor/Presentation Manager
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
• The Presentation Planner is responsible for creating accurate presentation schedules
• Respond flexibly and confidently with the enquiries and demands of Channel Management, Commissioning, Breaks & Ratings and Sponsorship and Marketing
• Work in collaboration with these departments to take the schedules to press
• Manage competing demands from interested parties across Channel 4
• Work collaboratively with colleagues within Presentation, Media Planning and Red Bee Media
• Form a close, mutually-supportive working relationship with the existing planning team
• Offer support and cover for colleagues within the planning teams, as and when requested
• Provide accurate advice to production companies
• Provide cover for the Presentation Editor as and when required

MAIN JOB REQUIREMENTS (education and specific experience necessary to fulfil job)
• Experience in a presentation role within a commercial, multi-channel environment
• An appreciation of the role of Presentation within the wider broadcast operation
• Ability to demonstrate a thorough practical understanding of PPS, Media Management and other systems
• A thorough understanding of the Ofcom programme, sponsorship, and advertising codes
• Fast, methodical and accurate, with keen attention to detail
• A flexible approach to work and an ability to prioritise tasks
