We are looking for an experienced Premiere Pro Editor with a background in production. The ideal candidate would be something of a preditor (producer/editor).

You will also need to have a real enthusiasm for making content about film and TV, and be able to develop ideas that offer a new spin on existing formats.

In this role you will be creating engaging videos for our existing AllTime Movies YouTube channel, which has a subscriber base of 500,000 fans. In addition to this, you will also be working on and ensuring the success of a brand new entertainment channel that we're developing, which will also examine TV and film releases but in more depth. There will also be scope to do some scripting for new video ideas, so the ideal candidate will have some examples of their own script work. This role is perfect for a creative bursting with ideas and enthusiasm.

They will have solid experience creating content for the online sector (preferably successful YouTube or Facebook videos) and be able to finish edits to a professional standard.

Experience with short-form digital media is essential, while experience creating engaging mini-doc/video essay style content would be beneficial.

Good knowledge of social media outlets as a platform for video content is also key to this role.

Our videos range from 6 to 15 minutes and are turned around in 2-4 days, so experience in a quick turn­around environment is essential. We have a very relaxed work environment and healthy social scene, but deadlines remain in place, so the ability to manage your time effectively and keep to these deadlines is crucial. The successful candidate will be self-sufficient, proactive, very creative and have a wealth of editing and production knowledge.

You will work closely with our in-house producer, so you must be able to convey an idea clearly to them, as well as understand and be willing to develop their ideas.

Recent graduates will not be considered for this role, you must have industry experience, and have examples of your work to back this up.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

-High level of proficiency in Adobe Premiere, After Effects and Photoshop.
-Experience within, and a clear understanding of, production.
-Any experience of working as a Producer is also a big plus.
-Familiarity with industry codecs and compression software.
-Ability to steer a project creativity.
-Proficiency in Mac-based systems.
