As part of our continuing expansion in to new areas, we are looking for an experienced Premiere Pro Editor with a strong background in After Effects.

The successful applicant will work as part of our fast paced in-house post production team creating original content for the ever evolving world of YouTube. This role is perfect for a creative bursting with ideas and enthusiasm.

They will have at least 3 solid years experience creating content for recognisable brands. They must have previously worked on projects with a quick turnaround and be able to finish edits to a professional standard.

Experience with short-form content is essential. As well as experience creating mid to high-end simple but effective motion graphics animations.

Our flagship YouTube channel passed the 4 million subscribers milestone this year and we have a network of other channels ranging from 45,000 to 1,000,000 subscribers.

We have a relaxed work environment and healthy social scene, but deadlines remain in place, so the ability to manage your time effectively and keep to these deadlines is crucial.

As an editor at DV you will often need to take the creative lead on day-to-day projects. We are a very collaborative company and work closely with our graphics and production departments, so you must be able to convey an idea clearly to them, as well as understand and be willing to develop the ideas of others.

The successful candidate will be self-sufficient, proactive, very creative and have a wealth of editing and production knowledge.


Recent graduates will not be considered for this role, you must have at least 3 years industry experience working as an editor, and have examples of your work to back this up.

KEY SKILLS

High level of proficiency in Adobe Premiere, After Effects and Photoshop.
Experience of creating short-form content
Familiarity with industry codecs and compression software
Used to working on Mac-based systems
Experience within, and a clear understanding of production is a plus.


DESIRABLES

Knowledge of Facebook as a video platform
Experience with Adobe Illustrator
