JOB PURPOSE

The Post Production Workflow Manager (Maternity Cover for 10 months) will be part of a dynamic team creating and supporting post production workflows across global facilities.
The department in which this role is located, is responsible for all post production support, R&D, projects and Post Production editing platforms in a 24/7 broadcast environment. Covering most audio/video related parts of the chain from signal acquisition, remote and local ingest to edit and on-demand delivery.
To be considered for this role you should have ideally worked as an editor or a post producer in customer focused environment. Experience creating post production workflows related to Sports broadcasting, news production and online technologies are advantageous.
The successful candidate must be self-motivated with the ability to work independently and as part of a team committed to finishing projects to deadline.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Work with engineering, production and creative teams to create effective workflows
• Create operational guidelines, best practice documents and provide training to technical and non technical teams
• Ensure workflows are adhered to
• Troubleshoot issues and assist support teams
• Participate in Post Engineering Management meetings
• Work closely with Media Management and Post Bookings teams
• Assist with proposals and presentations
• When required travel to Perform offices in the UK and Overseas

TECHNICAL SKILLS REQUIRED

• Previous Workflow and Post Producer experience in a post-production environment
• Exceptional communication and people skills
• A proactive attitude and a flexible approach to work
• Experienced in Project management
• In depth knowledge of Avid Interplay and Media Composer
• Familiar with MAM and Archive workflows
• Technical understanding of DPP broadcast standards
• Experience of broadcast Quality Control and Compliance
