- General Post-Production duties; which may include ingesting of media, delivering links to Producers and general troubleshooting.
- Multi-tasking and staying organised in a fast paced, high pressure environment
- Knowing the exact location within the department of each project, and the stage it is at in the post production process.
- Maintaining excellent communication with both internal and external parties
- Booking and coordinating freelance and external services, including editors, assistant editors, translators, graders and mixers - making sure PMs are aware if work goes beyond budget.
- Ensuring reports for music cues, transcripts and archive logs and final deliverables are sent to production.
- Publishing necessary assets to the internal CMS, the website and YouTube.
- Be actively aware and responsible for implementing Vice News style guide.
- Working with the Post Production Manager to manage your assigned storage on the server, and moving content to LTO tape and the Archive SAN as needed.
- Be the main point of daily contact between members of the post production team
- Attend editorial meetings.
- Assist Video Editors through all stages of the editing process including basic technical troubleshooting.
- Creating credits and basic graphics in Photoshop for use in edits or using AE templates.
- Copy-checking of English subtitles and double checking translations as required.

Other:
- To undertake such other tasks including general administrative duties as may be required from time to time.
- Have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, including being able to effectively resolve interpersonal disputes within their team.
- To be an ambassador for the business at all times.

Working Hours:
- Normal 7.5 hour day, which may be scheduled on rotation between 8am and midnight as required.
- Due to the nature of News reporting a certain degree of flexibility in working hours is expected.

Other:
• To undertake such other tasks including general administrative duties as may be required from time to time
• To be an ambassador for the business at all times.
