Post Production Co-ordinator
Tasks and Objective:
Post Production Co-ordinator will be responsible for co-ordinating the post production process and delivery, and providing assistance to the editors.

Responsibilities:
• Co-ordinating the workload and schedule for the department. Producing a working schedule that allocates projects to an appropriate editor based on skill-set and experience.
• Co-ordinating edit requests
• Ensuring all elements are collated and at spec before post production. Including script, voice over, checking 3rd party elements etc
• Organising and booking voice over recordings
• Working with publishers and media buyers to ensure correct and timely deliveries for 3rd party media.
• Assisting in the preparation of files for Clearcast.
• Uploading files to Adstream/IDM for broadcast and other delivery portals for external and internal teams
• Working closely with editors to complete edit requests, versioning and other ad hoc tasks
• Co-ordinate the archive libraries ensuring a record of completed work is kept up to date
• Produce and track estimates
Key skills

• Expert knowledge of the post production process
• Excellent planning and organising skills as well as liaising with staff to ensure work is produced on time to campaign deadlines.
• Knowledge of-post production workflow
• QC process for broadcast delivery
• Experience of working with different formats
• Obsessive attention to details

The right candidate has to be:

• Team player: the co-ordinator has to run project autonomously yet to be a great team player. It is key to establish relationship within the agency, support and assist the broader team involved in any versioning project.
• Great problem solver: the person in the role has to be ready to face a number of issues due to the relatively newness of the dept., has to be proactive, and happy to go the extra mile to exceed internal and external expectations. The co-ordinator needs to spot problems before they arise and be ready to offer (and look for) alternative solutions not only to the team, but to clients and to suppliers.
• Hard worker: in our agency, there is no barrier among teams, there is no responsibility that a team member cannot take over if it is needed or requested to hit an objective, or to help a colleague in difficulty
