To assist in the day-to-day running of the FremantleMedia UK offices, logging and carrying out staff requests or forwarding to appropriate alternative staff if necessary. Working within a team of runners at Stephen Street OfficesHOURSYour normal working hours will be 40 per week, from Monday to Friday. Your working pattern will either be 8am to 5pm, 10am to 7pm or 11am to 8pm daily (to be determined by your line manager and may vary each week), with a one hour unpaid lunch break. You agree to work such extra hours without additional payment as are required to ensure the proper performance of your duties.KEY RESPONSIBILITIES• Assist the Post Room in collecting and delivering mail• Frequent runs around Soho area e.g. Edit Suites• Order stationery for production and keep stock tidy• Keep kitchens clean and tidy and inform Facilities of any shortages• Check meeting rooms every morning• Set up and clear meeting rooms, post areas and edits suites wherever applicable• Hand out timesheets to relevant freelancers• Assist the Post Room in collecting and delivering mail to the post dept• Assistant the Handyman if requested• Frequent wipe down of shared equipment such as keyboards, phones, etc• Report any cleaning needs, broken furniture, missing items to Head of Post• Photocopying & basic filing• Assist in set up of office areas, including furniture builds & moves• Assist in set up of social events• Maintain paper stocks for photocopiers• Help with archive box collection and delivery• Assist other members of OM Team as necessary e.g. Office Manager or Handyman• Flag up any issues in the building e.g. maintenance problems• Occasionally assist Media Resources• Attend weekly OM Team meetings• Provide regular tea, coffee, fruit and biscuits to edit suites - completing tick sheet• Take, fill and deliver dinner orders for editors/producers (6pm - 8pm)• Handling cash and reconciling with receipts• This is not an exhaustive list of duties, and all FremantleMedia employees are expected to be flexible and undertake other activities as requiredJob requirements:ESSENTIAL SKILLS & EXPERIENCE• Good communication skills• Ability to use own initiative• Practical and logical approach to work• Computer literate• FlexibilityCommercial• Demonstrates a broad knowledge of the part of the business that they operate in.• Shows integrity in dealing with confidential information and material.Creative• An interest in FremantleMedia UK's programmes is very important• Understands other points of view and changes own approach to suit the needs of the situation.• Has a proactive nature with the ability to pre-empt issues by taking appropriate steps and escalating when required.Collaborative• Work harmoniously in a team• Excellent inter-personal, communication and relationship building skills with a friendly and approachable attitude• Develops effective relationships with colleagues in other areas of the business, who can assist you in achieving goals.Confident• Able to confidently interact with colleagues at all levels and also with key talent and contributors when on production• Responds to changing circumstances and is resilient, flexible, and willing to depart from plans when occasion demands• Ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines• Confidence, assertiveness and decisiveness• Always forward thinking and planning ahead to ensure best service levelClosing date - 29th July 2016 (we reserve the right to close the role sooner if we have received an adequate response.
