Office Runner /Driver

Job duties:
This role is twofold; The majority and main purpose of this role will be to assist in the day-to-day running of the FremantleMedia UK Amersham office, working within a team of two at the Amersham site as directed by the Office Manager.
There may be occasional ad hoc Location running on a popular Boundless format during which you will be reporting into the Production Manager.
Contract Type: 6 month Fixed Term
Salary: £19,552
Core Hours: 9am - 6pm
Possible unsociable hours when assisting on Location
Occasional weekend working
Main responsibilities as Office Runner (Driver) at Amersham site:
• Organise DVD copying and labelling
• Make daily runs to the FremantleMedia UK office and Edit suites in London driving the company vehicle.
• Assist in set up of office areas, including furniture builds & moves
• Assist in phone and pc set up
• Liaise with regular suppliers and resolve basic queries
• Answer main phone line
• Distribute mail, log and weigh post
• Check fax machines and distribute faxes
• Photocopy & basic filing
• Flag up any issues in the building and inform the Landlord / building maintenance company
• Order stationery via the internet and keep stock tidy
• Reconcile petty cash float and complete monthly cash counts
• Set up and clear meeting room
• Maintain paper stocks for photocopiers and fax machines
• Keep kitchen clean and tidy, loading & unloading dishwashers
• Check & replenish stock of kitchen consumables
• Collect and take all recycling to the community recycling bins
• Assist in set up of social events
• Possibility to work on production locations
Main responsibilities as Location Runner:
• The role frequently demands climbing high ladders and working on scaffold towers
• Transportation equipment, often by hand across long distances and between levels (e.g. ladders and staircases).
• On hand to assist all crew (anything from carrying batteries to pushing a dolly)
• Ordering and collecting lunches and refreshments
• Ensuring that H&S equipment is available to all the teams and flagging up if any H&S supplies/first aid provisions need replenishing
• Flagging up ANY health and safety concerns to either the director or the unit manager immediately
• Overnight stays on location are sometimes required.
• Cleaning and tidying kit and returning to cupboards.
• Assisting with all stages of risk assessment and release form paperwork
• Liaising with Production Coordinator to ensure all travel/accommodation arrangements can be made as efficiently as possible.
• Assist in sound recording / boom operation and clip mics
• Interact with contributors as directed
Qualifications & Experiences:
• Computer literate
• Competent driver with full clean driving licence (successful candidates will be asked to attend a driver assessment, and employment is subject to satisfactory performance on this)
