The department's main responsibilities are to plan, design, develop and test the Sky Broadband and Telephony Network, which delivers high-quality and reliable broadband and voice products to our customers. SNS positions Sky at the forefront of innovation in the world of converged communication products by providing a strong technical programme and project management regime for network projects, operating and controlling the network to the highest standards, while meeting the needs of different customers. This includes providing a high level of service for broadcast-critical networks. As our Ofcom Billing Compliance Analyst you'll be critical in ensuring the ongoing approval of the Sky Talk Telephony products to the requirements of Ofcom regulations. You'll be responsible for performing analysis of relevant customer cases, from provisioning through the entire customer lifecycle, to demonstrate compliance, co-ordinating the investigation and resolution of overcharging issues identified and for demonstrating to the approval body that all requirements are met by measurement strategy and operational processes, through monthly metrics reporting and quarterly audits. This role is an excellent opportunity to build relationships with teams across Sky as you will be responsible for highlighting any issues within Metering and Billing and liaise with relevant teams across the business to drive root fix and customer resolution. You will identify tolerance breaches and work with operational teams to correct the breach and put in place new controls to prevent recurrence. To be successful in this role experience of working within the telecommunications industry and a good technical understanding of order management, provisioning, mediation, rating and billing would be highly beneficial. You will have experience of working within a regulatory environment. Analytical and problem solving skills are key along with great attention to detail and the ability to prioritise tasks and see them through to completion. Experience of conducting root cause analysis as well as statistical and trending analysis is also important. You'll have excellent communication skills and be able to influence stakeholders within the business.
