Media Edit Assistant

The Institute of Art and Ideas is looking for an enthusiastic part-time Media Edit Assistant to join the team of our rapidly growing online TV station IAI TV. Total Politics has called the IAI "Europe's answer to TED" and with weekly releases of debates, talks and podcasts, involving world's leading thinkers, politicians, scientists, and artists, we are well placed to influence the intellectual culture of the UK and the world.
The ideal candidate will be a self-starter with excellent, communication, organisational and problem solving skills. They will have technical knowledge with a background in editing and troubleshooting for delivery. You will integral to the Editing Process across Colour Grading, Sound Mixing and delivering broadcast materials to international and domestic specs.
On a day to day basis the successful candidate will QC video & audio for delivery on our online platform, as well as package content for international channels. You must be organised, have a keen eye for detail, understand tape / digital workflows and be able to manage multiple deadlines on a tight schedule.
All applicants should have a minimum of 6 months of experience and have excellent educational credentials. Working knowledge of Premiere Pro, Media Encoder & Final Cut Pro is essential. There is plenty of room for growth in this role, please only apply if you meet the requirements listed.
