Online Post Production is an innovative and dynamic post-production company. Based in central London, we have over 25 years of experience in delivering high quality services including editing, sound, VFX , DVD production and web and interactive services. We have a number of high profile clients and have worked on feature films such as "Harry Brown" and "Song For Marion".

We are looking for a highly motivated and extremely well organised individual to join our expanding facility as an MCR Operator. This will entail performing file and tape duplications, transcoding, encoding, QC and technical checks and assisting the editing team as required.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

MCR Operator
• Ingest, duplicate, convert and encode tapes and files across a wide range of filming and broadcast formats, codecs and wrappers.
• Manage the duplication bay area to ensure editors have access to decks as required and duplications are completed on time.
• Assist the Account Manager to manage each account's duplication, conversion, encoding and technical check needs, and client expectations. This includes liaising with the client after technical checks and answering the client's day-to-day technical questions.
• Maintain the library database to ensure tapes are logged accurately and housed correctly.
• Assist senior editors as requested with their job requirements including logging rushes,
digitising, conforming, encoding and deliverables.
• Undertake training to ensure all hardware and software is utilised competently and efficiently.
• Complete all paperwork correctly and expediently.
