Initial 3 months fixed-term contract (to be reviewed and potentially extended)To start 12 September 2016 Metro Broadcast is looking to recruit an experienced full time event Lighting Technician. The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years' experience in all aspects of Lighting (lighting equipment, installation and operation). You would need to prepare, test, maintain, deliver, install and operate the lighting equipment as each job requires. This role would suit a person who is a responsible professional, who enjoys working in a fast paced environment and is customer focused, (consistently meets and exceeds client's expectations, delivering excellent service at all times via good communication skills). You will need to demonstrate a high standard of work with the natural ability to be both organised and efficient and have excellent attention to detail. If you are pro-active, self-motivated with a positive attitude then we would like to hear from you. Equally desirable would be a candidate who has qualifications in Event/Theatre Lighting or significant relevant career experience. Candidates are also required to have a full driving licence valid in the UK.
