Due to an increase in activity at Curve including more touring and produced work, we are now seeking to expand our technical department, and therefore we have an exciting opportunity for a 2 Technicians with specialisms in Lighting & Sound to join our Technical Team at Curve, one on a permanent basis and one on a 6 month fixed term basis: one of Britain's leading producing theatres. The post holder will work as part of the Production Department, maintaining the high standards of production and maintenance across the venue and equipment.

In this role you will be responsible for providing a full professional technical support service to Curve and its users. As a multi-skilled Theatre Technician you will assist in the preparation and support of performances and events, whilst leading on the Lighting and Sound related tasks.

The successful candidate will have a broad and knowledgeable understanding of Lighting operations and equipment, as well as demonstrate knowledge of sound operations including the rigging of sound infrastructure. Experience with electrics in a theatre environment is desirable. We are looking for an enthusiastic individual with a desire to achieve high standards even when working under pressure.
