Following significant investment by the University of Bedfordshire in transforming the student journey, The School of Culture and Communications is pleased to invite applications to work on a part time/temporary basis. The School is located in the Luton Campus. Teaching takes place at each of our three Campuses in Luton, Bedford and Milton Keynes. We are looking for applicants that have appropriate experience and can contribute to undergraduate and postgraduate teaching in the following areas: Magazine design using Adobe InDesignMagazine and online publishingScriptwritingCinematographyApplicants must possess a relevant first degree and postgraduate qualification or equivalent. In addition, applicants should demonstrate excellent organisational and communication skills and the ability to meet deadlines. Immediate availability is preferred, and there are also opportunities to engage with the department on an ad hoc basis.The hourly paid lecturer rate of £42.36 includes time for preparation and marking and staff are only paid per hour of contact time with the students. Applicants may also be employed across a range of other teaching related activities such as marking, or non-teaching related activities such as project work.
