Full time kit room assistant/Camera Trainee required for busy facilities company based in Brentford, west London.

General kit room duties will involve the preparation of kits for shooting crews, checking in and out of equipment and cleaning and maintaining equipment to a high standard.

This position will give a vital and comprehensive understanding of the operation of cameras and other related equipment, should the candidate wish to pursue a career as a cameraman/woman.

Deliveries and pick-ups are an important part of the job, so experience of driving vans is essential.

Due to the often, unpredictable nature of filming schedules, the position will involve very early starts and very late finishes. Weekend work will also be required.

Full training will be given in all aspects of camera, lighting, grip and sound skills to prepare the right person to become a camera assistant.

This is an entry-level position for those interested in pursuing a career in the technical side of television. Applicants must have a flexible approach, good eye for detail and the ability to work under pressure. They must have a full clean UK licence held for more than 1 year and must live with easy access to Brentford. £13,750 salary p.a. Start A.S.A.P
