We are looking for a Kit Room technician who will assist with running of the day-to-day activity of our kit room, with the Kit Room Manager. You would be responsible for accurately preparing kit orders to meet clients' requirements - carrying out the testing and preparation of equipment, as well as checking-in on return. Ensuring that all systems are maintained and all information is recorded. Carrying out basic repairs, and organising the repair of damaged equipment. Updating firmware and reporting the need to upgrade any existing equipment. Making recommendations regarding new products to purchase to the Hire Manager. Offering phone support to clients. When needed you would also help out setting up training courses, and anything else in the running of our company including administrative work. Candidates must be prepared to work the occasional weekend and shift work.

The ideal candidate must have worked at least 1 year in broadcast rental facility. They would have an excellent knowledge of existing equipment and well as a passion and strong interest in new production technologies, as well as an eye for detail. As a company we need a team player, who wants to support their colleagues and shows initiative.

Salary will depend on experience.
