DUTIESHandle all music licensing and placement needs from sourcing affordable, creative options to ensuring all necessary rights are secured within budget
Manage project and series budgets
Source & negotiate music library rates; bring new artists to the team
Ensure cue sheets are complete for each production
Handle TV network deliverables which includes ensuring all contracts are fully executed and aligning all cue sheets and contracts for delivery for each series.

EXPERIENCE / EDUCATIONBachelor's degree in Music, Communications, Journalism or related field
Relevant professional experience handling music clearance and/or supervision on multiple platforms
Excellent organizational skills
Ability to manage multiple responsibilities simultaneously under strict deadlines
Intimate knowledge of the content found on VICE.com, VICE Magazine and other VICE properties
Strong research abilities and problem solving skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Positive, solution-based attitude
Working knowledge of MAC environment
Must be able to work in a multi-discipline collaborative environment
Must be proficient in excel / numbers and Keynote
