JUNIOR EDITOR

Wing are a creative content production agency based in North West London and are looking to hire an energetic Junior editor with bags of energy, enthusiasm and initiative. The successful applicant will have a minimum of 2 years experience of editing on Avid and also After Effects. You will have a genuine interest in short-form video content and film editing. There will also be a basic understanding of the technical side of editing and project and media management.

Main purpose of the Job: In house Junior Editor required to work across all output in the Wing portfolio. This role also includes assistance with the management of our Avid suites and server storage system.

Salary is £24k.
Normal Business Hours some occasional weekend work may apply
6 month initial contract which may lead to a staff position.

You will be an integral part of a growing company with impeccably high standards and production values
You will have good knowledge of Avid editing software.
You will have a basic knowledge of using After Effects and keen to learn more.
You will work quickly and effectively, whether independently or with direction and show creative flair and potential for growth
You will be brimming with ideas and visual influences, born out of a genuine passion for unique content
You will have technical know-how and be able to assist in data management and storage
You may also be required to carry out any other duties that are within the scope and purpose of the job

KNOWELDGE AND EXPERIENCE
Mandatory Ability to edit on Avid to a good standard
Basic knowledge of After Effects and a willingness to learn
Technical understanding of production workflow
Understanding of working with multiple formats
Ability to work quickly and support a team under pressure to meet tight deadlines without compromising creativity
A good command of the English language, numeric skills and computer literacy
DesirableGood understanding of the digital environment, social media and online trends
People person able to fit into a highly driven and passionate team
Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and creative influences
