Junior Creative

London

Jungle Creations are on the hunt for a Junior Creative. We want someone with big ideas, passion and drive to join our Shoreditch based team.

Jungle Creations are the 6th most viewed media company in the world. We own some of the biggest channels on social media, including the third most viewed page on Facebook, Viral Thread. Together our pages get over 2.5 billion videos a month.

With this huge audience at our fingertips, we create fun and impactful content for some of the biggest brands in the world. Here are some examples of our work.

We're looking for someone who thinks outside the box and knows what's shareable, relevant and flies on social media. Someone who can work well in a team to develop amazing campaign ideas, but also work independently on presentation decks.

Main responsibilities include:

- Brainstorming ideas for viral videos, livestreams, video articles and memes.
- Writing up ideas, and putting them into presentation decks.
- Photoshopping images that help bring the ideas to life, and creating moodboards.
- Devising fun topline recipe ideas for our food pages. We have an in-house studio kitchen, where our talented chefs bring these ideas to life.

Skills needed:

- A creative mind that is good at coming up with viral ideas for clients.
- A nifty writer who can keep up with the pace. We often have a quick turnaround on writing up campaign ideas.
- A Photoshop whiz and a good knowledge of Powerpoint.
- An understanding of current and past viral trends.
- Confidence to pitch ideas to our internal team.
- Someone who is hardworking but knows how to have fun. We're a young team that get our heads down, but we're also a social bunch once everything's wrapped.
- A decent backhand in ping-pong. We take it pretty seriously.

Application Process:
To apply please send us the following:
1. Your CV
2. A cover letter explaining why you want the role and why you think you're a perfect fit
3. Essentially the role is about taking a client's brief, coming up with good ideas, writing them up, doing photos for them, and putting them into an impressive looking presentation deck. So we'd love you to have a crack at doing just that for an example brief:

The Brief
*Please note that this is not a real brief, it has been made up for this job application.
Client:
Doritos
Deadline for Response:
22nd March
Background:
· Doritos want to be the go-to snack brand for millennials but aren't seen as 'cool' anymore.
· They're a fun, bold brand that are up for pushing boundaries.
Campaign Objectives:
· Regain relevance with Doritos' 18-25 target audience in a way that will be regarded by the age group as authentic.
· Create content that brings Doritos' extreme flavours to life and draws attention to the brand's adventurous, bold personality.
· Attract more young people to the brand by aligning it with fun, social situations.
Considerations:
Content should:
· Be relevant, shareable and stand out on social media.
· Link to your overarching campaign message.
· Consider using influencers to create a variety of authentic content.

In your presentation response, please include:
- An overarching campaign name, a brief summary of this campaign and how it addresses the issues laid out in the brief.
- 3 x viral video ideas and with your rationale behind each idea - here are some examples of the types of viral videos we make.
- 3 x video meme ideas with rationales. Example here.
- 2 x Facebook livestream ideas with rationales. Here's an example of a livestream we recently did for Iceland's food waste campaign (highlights).
- 3 x topline fun recipe ideas focused on any products in the brand's range. Essentially take the product and fit it into a cool recipe video, something like this.

Interview:
We will interview anyone whose presentation we like.

Pay:
£22k-£25k depending on experience

Closing date:
22nd March, though we will be reviewing applications as they come in.
