Job Description
A busy TV station, broadcasting 24 hours a day, is looking for  an entry level night time runner / camera operator to work on a four day on, four day off shift pattern. Shifts are 8.5 hours.

We are looking for candidates with very little experience in broadcast media but who have a strong interest in cameras, sound and lighting and are looking to learn on the job. You must be hard-working with lots of energy, have attention to detail, intelligent, energetic, enthusiastic, proactive, flexible, work well under pressure, have the ability to use own initiative and be willing to learn about all aspects of studio production. This is a demanding and excellent opportunity for an entry level position into television as the right candidate will gain invaluable television experience.

Duties will encompass all that is required of a runner and will be many and varied. This may entail less pleasant aspects such as cleaning and running errands from time to time, so please be aware of this when applying for the position.  You will be able to experience various aspects of live broadcast production and will be expected to undertake camera operating from the beginning so you will be expected to learn fast.

We require that CVs fit on a single A4 sheet, list relevant achievements only, and please no stock covering letters, I can spot them a mile away!
