We are looking for a Graphics Intern to join our award winning in-house 5Creative team. This is an exciting opportunity to apply your creativity and design skills whilst gaining experience from our creative teams. In this hands-on role you will design and create artwork for on air, digital, print and social artwork for some of our best-known TV shows including Big Brother, Neighbours, Lip Sync Battle.

Alongside Channel 5, our Graphics Intern will work across our digital channels: 5STAR, 5USA, SPIKE, My5 and My5 TV.


KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:

- Supporting Senior Designers and Creative teams in the production of promotional assets for our TV shows
- Producing and assisting the design of artwork for promos, print and digital
- Contribute ideas in a brainstorm for 360 campaigns and promos
- Preparing assets for the creative teams
- Archive support


EXPERIENCE & KNOWLEDGE:

- Must have an understanding and passion for design, motion graphics, typography and layouts
- Must have completed or started a course in a design subject or have at least 6 months work experience in a media environment
- Knowledge and interest in the latest design trends
- Interest in social media, digital and off air advertising trends


SKILLS REQUIRED:

- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite
- Experience using Adobe After Effects preferable but not essential
- Experience in Cinema 4D a bonus
- Mac and PC illiterate
- Organised with the ability to prioritise your workload
- Team player with the ability to build relationships
- Comfortable developing ideas in response to a brief
- Good communicator
- Ability to multi-task with a can do attitude
- An understanding of print/digital formats and deliveries would be beneficial
- Ability to work to tight deadlines and schedules
