What it's all about:-

People and our culture are fundamental to our success. We describe our culture as "obsession" and we're looking for a Front of House Manager who oozes our culture in everything they do.

Reporting to the Head of Workspace and Procurement and working in our dynamic office in the heart of London, this role is literally the face of Global.

It's all about three key things; giving the very best welcome experience for Globalers and guests; making sure we give them top notch catering and hospitality; and making sure our building and everyone in it, is kept safe and secure. All of that within budget - simple!

What you'll be doing:-

You'll be the first point of contact for all visitors giving them a professional and distinctively Global welcome.
You'll make sure that Reception and "ground" are looked after properly so it is a great space for meetings and catch-ups over coffee.
You'll guarantee the smooth arrival of all VIPs, making sure that all relevant teams are properly briefed and requests for things like specific security, press access and catering are all sorted.
You'll look after the meeting room booking system, training relevant Globalers, and escalating any technical issues to the support team.
Working with our external catering Company, you'll oversee our in-house catering making sure, with the Catering Manager, that this service is delivered to Global standards and within budget.
You'll manage the security contract, making sure that the security guards feel part of the Global family while delivering the highest levels of security. This includes making sure that any security related incidents are logged and followed up on with a view to further improvements.
You'll run regular reports on front of house activities, including stats and data, to identify trends and themes and ways to improve.
You'll work closely with our Facilities management provider to deal with any building issues quickly and effectively so that there is minimum impact for Globalers and guests.
And finally, you'll develop brilliant relationships with the PA's, in particular the PA to CEO and PA to Founder to make sure all their needs at met.

You'll have these skills:-

Previous experience in a similar role in a media/creative environment is essential.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Experience of managing facilities and security contracts.
Effective time management and organisational skills.
High level of integrity, tact and respect for confidentiality.
Flexible, reliable, self-motivated and dedicated team player.
Ability to identify issues, risks and conflicts and asks for assistance and/or delegate appropriately when required in a timely and constructive manner.
Willingness to gain knowledge of the way the business operates, networking effectively within the business and proactively engaging with members of other support areas.
