Expert Producer

London

Expert Producer

Mastered is a talent company for emerging creative professionals working in the global fashion industry. We create online education programs for the next generation of fashion talent, and we work with some of the biggest names in the industry to do so. Nick Knight, Inez & Vinoodh, Guido, Sam McKnight, Val Garland, i-D and Dazed are just some of the names we've collaborated with to deliver our world-class fashion education.

Our mission is to give talented creative people the opportunity they need to get the career they want. Last year, we were one of the fastest growing startups in London. We grew from 10 to 50 members of staff, profitably. We've got a solid business model and huge ambitions to transform creative education and employment.

We need talented commissioning editors to act as the industry insiders on each program, bringing the audience and expert insight which makes our courses so perfect for the professionals taking them. You'll be an editor, producer or community manager in your field with an encyclopaedic knowledge of art direction, what the audience wants - and more importantly, needs to know and, crucially, a bulging book of fashion contacts relevant to your field.

As well as an in-depth knowledge of your market, you need to be able to understand how they learn best, who they'll be excited to hear from and have the ability to turn that insight into inspiring online learning. You need to know who the industry icons are, who the new breed that get your audience excited are, the websites they love, the Instagram accounts they follow. You should live and breathe your subject, and light up when you talk about it.

You'll be exceptionally organised, super well-connected, creative, excited about education, resourceful and ambitious.

You will:

Commission experts for our programs. You'll curate, develop and cultivate these relationships, acting as the point of contact between the production team and our expert names.
Work alongside the series producer and the talent managers to devise content for the program, understanding the topics which we need to cover and who best to deliver them.
Bring in-depth industry knowledge to all of our videos, written content and feedback.
Create detailed, industry-relevant written content for your program, as well as producing detailed conservation plans to form the basis of our video content.
Work with our marcomms and talent scouting team to ensure that all public-facing content is totally representative of the industry, experts and program plans.
Suggesting and providing content for your program's Instagram, ensuring that it's a beautiful and engaging representation of the content, experts and artists on the program.
Staying up to date with relevant industry news, attending relevant events and generally being the go-to person for all things art direction.

You need:

A proven track record of being a total expert in your field, with the contacts and industry knowledge to back that up.
A proven track record producing brilliant editorial content in your field; whether in media, digital, television or another area of your industry.
A forward-thinking approach to problem-solving.
Energy, resilience, resourcefulness, creativity, confidence, hunger and calmness under pressure.
