Position Summary:The Experience Designer, Creative is responsible for the overall user experience (including functionality and look and feel) of all multimedia projects across the EMEA region and to propose and develop new functionality and products for roll out to our clients globally. Key Responsibilities:- To be responsible for user experience on all of the tours and apps to be produced by Creative EMEA- To work with Product Development, Designers and Heads of Creative and the new to oversee all user experience on all new tour templates and new functionality.- To work with the Creative Management team to define and implement appropriate new user experience guidelines, development processes and systems, and lead the change management process required to successfully roll those systems out to the full EMEA team and make them standard AI operating procedures.- To work with designers to develop a new look and feel for our apps and multimedia tours, and brand compatible customization/modifications contracted for specific clients. - To ensure that the Company stays ahead of the curve in terms of apps and multimedia interpretation in museums and cultural sites- To work with Product Development, creating wireframes to support development of new features and functionality- To design and, where appropriate, oversee the work of graphic designers in creation of bespoke screens or apps for clients, by doing the following: - preparing rough design concepts- using industry-standard graphics and multimedia software packages- producing separate visuals for each element of a multimedia tour or app- designing hypertext links and animated menus- writing codes and testing the functionality of the end product.- To work with the EMEA Production Manager to develop and roll out new processes to respond more effectively to the requirements of multimedia production-To undertake to give regular user experience training to team members-To work with our development team to propose and map out new functionality to add to the features already developed for Antenna Publisher-To work with Product Development to communicate new functionality as it's developed and look and feel for our templates to the EMEA Creative team, either in meetings or in regional calls- To work with Global Head of Studio and the Publisher Super-Users to implement new functionality and build new power-blocks- To work with the EMEA Heads of Creative and EMEA Sales and Marketing to respond to major tenders and propose products to suit potential client needs- To work as necessary with Product Development and the Heads of Creative to develop bespoke products to suit client requirements within specific budgets- To attend client meetings, as necessary, to propose new functionality or products- To source high quality freelance designers, develop guidelines and international standards and manage their work to our standards.Other ad-hoc duties as necessaryRequirements:Demonstrable experience in working in a complex multimedia production environmentProven experience of working with designers to create groundbreaking and high quality appsWillingness to train on new technical and creative processesHighly creative mind, ability to think outside the box and inspire a highly creative teamDemonstrable excellent communication skills and ability to perform well under pressure.Ability to handle multiple projects at once with careful attention to detail and follow through to completion under supervision, effectively managing problems and meeting deadlines.Good degree in interactive design or equivalentFluency in English is a requirement; fluency in another European language would be an advantageExcellent verbal and written communication skills coupled with the ability to operate with a sensitivity to cultural and linguistic differencesFlexibility and willingness for irregular working hours, including occasional weekend or evening workEnergetic, positive mind set and keen to see and facilitate the Company's success at all levelsMust be eligible to live and work in the UK.
