Reporting to our executive producer & company director, the Production Assistant provides a varied array of administrative support. They coordinate the executive's calendar, schedule meetings, arrange travel, and serves as a liaison between the office and other departments, clients, and other divisions. The role involves administrative, coordination as well as research & development skills.Essential FunctionsAdministrative duties: - Coordinate calendar- Business and personal appointment scheduling and coordination- Book travel/provide detailed itineraries- Screen incoming calls, relay accurate messages- Prepare and edit correspondence- Draft presentations, edit and incorporate media- Research and special projects (Research & Development)- Prepare and submit Expense Reports/reconcile credit card statements- Backup for all front desk duties- May at times assist other departments with project work- These duties are not inclusive and you may be asked to assume responsibilities outside your position's scopeProduction assistant duties:- Assist wherever they are needed on productions/shadow the Executive Producer.- Assisting with answering telephones, filing paperwork and data entry, arranging lunches, dinners, and transportation reservations, photocopying, general office administration, and distributing production paperwork.- Assisting in production coordination for one of our ongoing shows called FANTV.- Research & development skills for FANTV & other shows at LSPTV.Knowledge and Critical Skills/Expertise- Candidate must be highly organized, reliable and resourceful- Preferred candidate will have an outgoing, positive, can do attitude with a high level of adaptability and ability to change focus quickly and multi-task with ease.- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills with a sense of humility.- Confident & adaptable; able to hold conversation with ease when shadowing executive producer in client meetings.- Previous experience in a similar role with administrative & organisational skills is preferred but not essential.- Conveys a positive and professional image at all times.- Skilled at coordinating all types of travel, logistics, and accommodations etc.- Experience managing multiple calendars and multiple time zones accurately and efficiently.- Experience with executive level local/international guest coordination.- Advanced Microsoft Office and Outlook skills.- The ideal candidate should have a strong passion for TV industry & be able to adapt to a variety of genres in terms of production.Work Environmental and Physical Demands- The Job will generally be performed in an office environment, but may require traveling to our studios to assist production stuff there. Experience and Education- BA/Bsc graduate is preferred but not essential.- Previous experience in a position which required organisational + administrative skills is preferred but not essential.
