Our extensive client base includes: the BBC, ITV, DreamWorks, Warner Bros, Sony, Universal and Paramount. With increasing demand for our services, we are looking to rapidly expand our head office team, based inside the world famous Pinewood Film Studios, with passionate people who want to work in one of the most interesting industries in the world.We are looking for a PR & Events Coordinator with drive, confidence and charisma to come and join us during this exciting period of growth and be a crucial part of shaping the development of the company.Your key responsibility will be the management and promotion of casting events across the UK. You will lead events from start to finish; from booking venues and organising supplies, to ensuring that everything runs smoothly on the day. As an assertive self-starter you will be excited by the challenges ahead and ready to get your hands dirty.Working closely with our Senior Marketing Executive and Head of Casting, you will also lead on publicising the events, with experience working across traditional and digital media. You will be given the flexibility to apply your expertise and knowledge to all aspects of the event lifecycle - you should be brimming with creative ideas. Working within the Entertainment industry can be exciting but also very demanding and often time critical. We are a close team and you may be asked to pitch in and help out in other areas of the business, so we can achieve success together. This will also help your development and understanding of the business which will ultimately contribute to success in the role. We are looking for someone who is solution focussed and wants both a challenge for themselves and the opportunity to be part of the team to grow our business. Desired Skills and Experience Requirements:• A minimum of 1 years' experience in a similar role • A self-starter who is confident in executing events with minimal supervision• Experience in publicity - the role will involve writing press releases and using social media• Excellent face-to-face customer service skills • Proven ability to work well under pressure, capable of problem solving• Excellent verbal and written communication skills• Proven ability to build and manage relationships with third parties• High level of computer literacy including the full Microsoft Office Suite• A team player willing to learn and take direction• Whilst the role will be based from Pinewood Studios, Monday to Friday, you will also require some flexibility to work weekends if required as per the events schedule • A valid UK driver's licence is a bonusPlease send covering letter and CV
