At Scripps Networks Interactive we are a leading developer of engaging lifestyle content in the home, food and travel categories for television.
Maybe you will have watched or heard of some our channels such as HGTV, DIY Network, Food Network, Cooking Channel, Travel Channel to name a few.

We are currently seeking an Online Editor To edit and deliver short-form content for our lifestyle channels to a very high standard both creatively and technically, working very closely with Creative services and Commissioning departments to achieve this.

The role
Working with producers to edit short form material for TX. Working collaboratively or unattended, starting from rushes or taking a producer's cut to make it the best it can be.
Combining high end FX and grading skills, sharp narrative and story-telling skills as well as technical knowledge to the online environment.
Ensuring as the final "eyes and ears" on all original content that professional and technical standards are maintained or exceeded ensuring all original material is of the highest standard it can be.
Any other online work that may be required.

Experience Required
3 years broadcast edit, Avid and post production Experience.
A proven understanding of broadcast video technology, video formats and file-based workflows
A proven understanding of the post production broadcast chain for TX.
A firm understanding of technical Broadcast compliance
High-end short-form experience
Exposure to: Avid Media Composer/Symphony, Avid Interplay and Isis, Sapphire and Adobe After Effects
