Editor required to be part of the launch team of a long-running digital sports project.

The Editor, will be responsible for transcoding & ingesting material from a wide variety of formats - from low quality phone camera and web footage to high quality material like Canon 5D, GoPro, DigiBeta & XDCAM HD422. They will be creating multiple sequences using FCP v7 from quick web based compilations to full broadcast ready short features, with graphics and audio mix. The majority of the output will need to be prepared for upload to YouTube/Web for distribution although occasionally there will be a requirement to deliver by broadcast quality tape and file formats.


REQUIRED:

• Thorough knowledge of Final Cut Pro v7, Apple Motion & Compressor.
• Good knowledge of transcoding and working with multiple video formats from phone camera & web footage to broadcast quality HD material.
• Creative with the ability of working to tight deadlines as part of a small dedicated team.

ADVANTAGEOUS/PREFERRED:
• interest in & understanding of digital content & audience management/development;
• knowledge, understanding & experience of working across all major social video / social media platforms (Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, Google Hangouts etc)
