Edit Assistant role

This is a great opportunity to work in a full time position as part of our post production team and to assist our roster of directors. The position would suit a graduate with some experience in post production workflows for TVCs, digital content and music promo work. A coherent technical knowledge backed up with a creative approach are important skills for the role.


Experience & Knowledge:

- An understanding in offline workflows using Adobe Premiere Pro CC.

- A coherent understanding of Adobe After Effects.

- Creation of sound design to an offline level and prep timelines for mix.

- Knowledge of video codecs for digital and broadcast delivery.


Responsibilities & Duties:

- Assist editors with offline prep.

- Manage rushes from transcode, conform to archive.

- QC and encode digital deliveries.

- Conform timelines through DaVinci Resolve for grade and online.

- Opportunities to DIT on TVCs, Music promos and digital content.

- Liaising with producers and editors to achieve production objectives.

- Good organisation skills with an ability to sustain an organised workflow to completion of a project.

- Business hours are 9:30am to 6pm, 5 days a week.
