We are looking for a Edit Assistant to work with us editing together restaurant review videos. We will be working with lots of restaurant bloggers to help them create online restaurant reviews. Taking footage of them talking to camera shot in our small studio as well as out on location alongside photos and videos from the restaurants, you will edit these together using an online platform called Showbox. Showbox is an automated editing system so you do not need to have a lot of experience using editing software, just a keen interest and a willingness to learn how to use Showbox. Please see www.showbox.com for more details and make sure you are happy working with this system. You will not be using Avid, Final Cut or Premiere so you must be happy to work like this. Each video is 3 minutes in length.

We will also need you to help us out as a make up artist in the studio when we film the bloggers. We do not need a specialised or even qualified make up artist -just someone who is happy to keep the bloggers shine free when on camera in front of the lights.

This position would suit a runner who is looking to start working in post production and is happy to be office based. This is initially for a three month contract and depending on the growth of the company this position could easily extend beyond that and well in to 2017. There may also be opportunities to work on other formats within the company as an editor but primarily you will be editing together restaurant reviews utilising Showbox.

Please note that this is a full time position within the three months. You will be required to work from our office Monday to Friday 10am - 6pm. The office is directly opposite Gunnersbury station.
