PLEASE DO NOT APPLY IF YOUR SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE DO NOT MEET THE CRITERIA AS YOUR APPLICATION WILL NOT BE CONSIDEREDDepartmentThe Digital team at Nickelodeon UK creates award-winning content for all the interactive services on Nick, NickToons, and Nick Jr, for our websites and emerging technologies.The team is made up of a Director, Senior Producer, Producer, 2 Assistant Producers, Designer and a Production Coordinator Key ResponsibilitiesReporting into the Producer and working closely with all Digital team, the Intern's main responsibilities include: • Support the Producers and Assistant Producers on daily site updates for nickelodeon.co.uk, nicktoons.co.uk and nickjr.co.uk• Under the guidance of the Producer and Assistant Producers, help produce and manage small in-house projects, competitions and site enhancements• Become a kids digital expert, conducting online research by keeping up to date on competitors websites and general interests of our key core audiences• To act as the department assistant supporting the team with general administrative duties.• Under the guidance of Producers, Assistant Producers and Senior Digital Designer, installing minor html and photoshop amends to webpages.• Work with Producers and Assistant Producers to clip video and update CMS systems with content (training will be provided).Role-Specific Skills/AttributesWe are looking for an eager graduate or undergraduate student on a placement programme who has an interest in kids TV, digital and website design.They will be thorough in their work, having excellent attention to detail. They will have strong skills in MS Office applications, in particular being confident with Outlook, but also having knowledge of Excel and Word. Basic knowledge of html and Photoshop skills a plus.They will also have enthusiasm and drive, and will be proactive about getting the job done. The successful candidate will be keen to learn from the team here, as well as be happy to work on their own responsibilities. Other Important Info: - 11 month duration starting in August / September 2013 - Salary £16,000 (per annum pro rata) - 23 paid day's holiday (per annum pro rata) - Interviews to be held in July 2013
