Do you have previous experience managing social platforms? If so, we'd love to hear from you. We are currently recruiting a Digital Assistant to create and publish original content across all of our platforms (particularly social media). You will manage the Cartoon Network Anything app, localise and publish content created by other teams, support campaigns and the day to day running of platforms for Kids and General Entertainment across the Central and Eastern European region.

In Europe, Middle East and Africa, Turner currently broadcasts 68 channels in 23 languages to 124 countries. It is headquartered in London and operates local offices across the region. The brand portfolio includes EMEA's number one international news brand CNN International as well as Turner's leading kids brands, Cartoon Network - home of global hit animation series such as The Amazing World of Gumball and Boomerang, featuring timeless classics such as Scooby-Doo, Tom & Jerry and Looney Tunes. Recently launched truTV is available free to air in the UK and is home to shows such as RuPaul's Drag Race and America's Got Talent.

Main responsibilities:

Manage the social media publishing for Cartoon Network and Boomerang across the region.
Create and manage content calendars.
Create, localise and publish promotional content (gifs, videos, images etc).
Optimise performance to grow the social audiences.
Manage the Cartoon Network Anything app.
Manage content supply and publishing schedules.
Create, localise and publish content in accordance to content calendars onto all other platforms across the region.
YouTube: create original content, select suitable clip cuts, and publish centrally-created video according to publishing calendar.
Website: localise and publish content promoting shows according to linear schedules.
Manage competitions with the help of the local marketing teams.
Source promotional assets.
Contribute ideas and insights into all digital campaigns and activities.

Other Skills and Experience:

Essential:

Relevant experience in manging social platforms for a brand with a strong understanding of how to create and grow social audiences.
Good video and photo editing skills using the Adobe Creative tools.
Working knowledge of digital performance analytics and analysis.
Full grasp of the Office suite.
Experience of working in a digital environment.
Strong organisational skills.
Able to work off own initiative and to juggle priorities to tight deadlines.
Able to communicate clearly and effectively.
Proactive and flexible approach to work, and comfortable working in an environment with constantly changing priorities.
Interested in developing a career in digital and content marketing.

Desirable:

• Hands-on experience uploading and publishing content using a CMS.
• Demonstrable experience working with YouTube.
• Experience of optimising SEO to ensure content is discoverable on websites and YouTube.
• Familiar with digital processes and terminology.
• Understands brands and brand building.
• Passionate about TV and entertainment.
• Ability to speak a Central & Eastern European language.

Additional Information

This position can be based at either our Munich office or London office.

Occasional travel required to Munich if based in London, and to London if based in Munich.
