CREATIVE DEVELOPMENT TRAINEE THE ROLEWe are looking for a trainee to join our development department. You will be originating new TV ideas both individually and with the team. You will be writing and creating pitch documents for your own and other people's ideas and learning to use Photoshop and power point to extremely high professional standard. You will follow social and traditional media; keep up to date with who is who in popular culture, comedy and the media. You will watch trends in technology, TV and on-line and you will do much of this off your own back. The contract will start early spring 2015 and will be a fixed 12-month contract with a 3-month trial period. The work is full time, based in London and will pay £400p/w (£20,800 per annum) WHO ARE WE LOOKING FORA hard working, self starter and someone who can think originally, work within a team and keen to learn everything there is to know about TV development. It is essential that you love entertainment TV and are not a TV snob. The successful candidate will be creating quiz, reality and game shows, if you dream of writing scripted comedy or directing hard hitting documentary series this job is probably not for you.
